Individual Counseling

Our identities, relationships, experiences, and needs are the context in which we live our lives and make choices. Individual counseling is a place to explore the many parts of you, how you've struggled, survived, and adapted, and how to integrate these parts to shape a present with possibility, healing, and agency.

I believe people are buoyant and begin whole.

Our ability to move forward through pain and loss stems from our innate pull towards growth. Therapy builds on this intuitive movement and can be a tool for change in our relationship with ourselves and with others. It is my aim to build a curious and collaborative space with you, as you build, process, and make meaning to facilitate change and integrate deeper self-knowledge.

I use an integrative, psychodynamic approach incorporating Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and attachment theory. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LIC#C6207) in Oregon and received my graduate degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy, with a specialization in sex therapy, from Lewis and Clark Graduate School in 2018.

I'm passionate about working with folks around LGBTQIA identity, gender identity and exploration, life transitions, and processing trauma. I genuinely enjoy my work as a collaborator, facilitator, and container holder as you engage in the hard, vulnerable, and generative work known as therapy.

I am anti-racist and equity focused in my work. This means I am sex, kink, and fat-positive, and aim to provide neurodivergent and polyamory / non-monogamy affirming care. Our lives are political, and our mental health and well-being is always tied to the systems and structures we live within. As a queer and non-binary person, I am especially committed to working with queer and trans communities.
